A little about myself…

I am proud to be able to call myself a Beloit native. I believe my journey as a hair dresser began right here in Beloit, when as a little girl I would go to my grandmother’s salon. I would spend hours with her, watching her be such an important part of her clients’ lives; not only by making them feel beautiful but also by making personal connections with them.

After completing an apprenticeship in 2005 I moved to Madison where I worked downtown while finishing a Bachelor of Arts degree at UW Madison. In 2007 I graduated and opened Avant Garde Salon. Since then I have been making people feel and look their best through combining my love for art, color, style and creativity.

This past March, my family moved back to Beloit to be closer to friends and loved ones and the opportunity to begin Red Door Studio Salon presented itself. It only made sense to start this new venture in the very place is all began.

Throughout my many years of hairdressing, education and staying current on the upcoming trends and fashions has always been a priority. Not only does it keep what I do fresh and exciting, it ensures that I am able to give each guest that is in my chair the experience that they came in for. I look forward to creating your vision with and for you.
