A little about myself…

I am proud to be able to call myself a Beloit native. I believe my journey as a hair dresser began right here in Beloit, when as a little girl I would go to my grandmother’s salon. I would spend hours with her while she was such an important part of her clients’ lives, not only by making them feel beautiful but by making personal connections with them.

In 2005 I completed an apprenticeship and moved to Madison where I worked on finishing my Bachelor of Arts degree at UW Madison. In 2007 I opened Avant Garde Salon and have been so blessed ever since to be able to say that I love what I do.

In March, my husband and I decided to move back to Beloit to be closer to friends and loved ones and the opportunity to begin Red Door Salon presented itself. It only made sense to start this new venture in the very place is all began.

Throughout my many years of hairdressing, education and staying current on the upcoming trends and fashions has always been a top priority. Not only does it keep what I do fresh and exciting, it ensures that I am able to give each guest that is in my chair the experience that they came in for.
